In oder to help our customers in the preparation of the material we need to develop the projects, we prepared this info page to explain you what file extensions we support, how to prepare them and deliver them.

File extensions

Our company supports quite all the file extensions. Below a cpmplete list

Office
All the office extensions (word, excell, power point, access)and the Open Office ones.

2D graphics files
All the image (JPG, JPEG, TIFF, Photoshop, GIF ecc.) and all the suite Adobe's files (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat). All the main CAD extensions.

3D files
All the main CAD extensions and the files (3DS, MAX, IGES, OBJ)

Audio and video files
Reguarding the audio and video files,in our structure they can be easily managed, while for the acquisition from old technologies like Super8 or the DAT, please, contact us.

Files preparation

There isn't a particular procedure, concerning the files preparation, but, paying attention to a pair of shrewdness, it's possible earning time and money.
For example, let's imagine you have to prepare an tundre of photos for a catalogue. Perhaps this catalogue will be organized in categories nd sub-categories. Un semplice esempio è la preparazione del materiale fotografico di un catalogo. Capita spesso di dover preparare centinaia di fotografie per un catalogo che presumibilmente sarà suddiviso in categorie e sottocategorie. Putting thousands of files "ARTUU_5287.tiff" in a whole directory,causes organization problems with more costs for your company.
So, if you don't have a photo archive, we suggest you to prepare it organizing the pictures, the files and the documents into a logic directory hierarchy (for example: macrogategory>categoy>product), maybe naming also the files (for example: nameproduct_code.jpg.
Quindi a meno che non siate già in possesso di un archivio fotografico, vi consigliamo di preparare il materiale dividendo le fotografie i file e i documenti all'interno di una gerarchi logica di directory (es: nome macrocategoria>categoria>prodotto) rinominando magari anche i file con un senso logico (es: nomeprodotto_codice.jpg) Thanks to this organization, we will manage easily the material, and you will have a logic and easy to be consulted archive.

How to send us the material

Over the traditional delivery modes, the best way is by asking us an FTP access. With FTP there are the advantages of the emails, but with files (a video, a pdf catalogue, some photos) whose dimension is too big to be sent by email.
